This article will be assuming you’re using forward rendering with at least 4x MSAA. If you’ve chosen to use deferred rendering this article will be less useful for you.

The comment about deferred rendering making the article less useful is because by it’s nature deferred rendering doesn’t use MSAA. So A2C doesn’t work. The only thing in the article that’s useful for deferred is the mipmapping stuff.
